    Super Simple Taco Soup

Its that time yall!  SOUP WEATHER!   This taco soup is so simple.  So simple that Bug can do it without any assitance.   We tried this recipe and loved it and have been using it as a base for years now.   To begin, you just need to brown you meat in a little bit of olive oil.  I love using garlic infused olive oil in my dishes to get that extra oomph of flavor to the meat.  Here you could add in onions and fresh garlic if you have it on hand.  We didnt this time, so we skipped it.  After your meat is browned, you may need to drain any grease.  I dont…

    OKCs Immersive Art Experience

There are not enough words to describe OKC’s newest adventure.   Think Willy Wonka, Science Museum, and giant jungle gym all rolled into one experience.   This is Factory Obscura’s Mix Tape.   From the moment you walk up to the door, you are greeted with interactive art outside featuring a giant boombox.  Press the button…dance….and repeat! Every aspect of the inside is utilized with immersive art, all 6000 square feet of it!   Entry is gonna cost ya: $15/adult $12/kids 4-12, and free for kids 3 and under.   This was a little pricier than I would like seeing as we were only there for about an hour.  However, the experience is meant to be slow…

    Quick & Simple Cashew Chicken

I dont know about you and yours, but in our house we love us some Chinese food.   I stumbled across this recipe for Spicy Cashew Chicken on MommaChelle and tweaked it to fit my lazyness and our tastes.  It is now a regular in our rotation of go-to dinner ideas.   We tend to cook a lot of rice all at once, so we can easily pull it for the next meal to help save time. So this meal is easily on the table in 15 minutes.  This recipe was already a great recipe, but I found that I could cut out some of the ingredients and steps and make it that…

    Hickey from Kenicke?…No…Hickie Laces!

I hate when I’m walking around at a park, on a trail, or in a store and my laces come untied.   Whats even worse is when they are so long and they lean up against my leg and tickle me. My first reaction is to swat my leg because it could be a spider.  {Not sure why thats my first thought….but it is!} So I was thrilled when my Hickies Lacing System came in.  I immediately put them in my sneakers and tried out different lacing options. I first tried them on the regular option of lacing them and tried them like that for a couple of days, but found…
