Bandee’s BBQ Bringing Live Music, World Class Taste, and Handcrafted Drinks

OKC just got a little bit tastier! Bandee’s BBQ located in Chisolm Creek off Memorial Road. They just opened their doors on August 2, 2021. It will be THE place to be this year with live music, a wall of beer, and delicious world class bbq!

With two stage and live music daily, you are sure to have a great time here. Upstairs grab apps and drinks and enjoy the show. Downstairs in the dining room youcan enjoy full service while enjoying the talented musicians.

Bandee’s BBQ also features several outdoor seating areas. One of which is upstairs on the balcony and the second one downstairs features great shaded seating.

So lets talk drinks now….I am not a beer drinker, however I can find much appreciation in a good wall of alcohol. Bandee’s has over 80 beers on tap! It was quite the sight. What I do love and know a little bit about is a good cocktail. My favorites being sours. And guys, they DELIVERED with a White Peach Sour complete with the egg white foam on top! I also tried their frozen pink drink, which was good, but Im definitley going back for that sour!

Now lets get down to business. Here is what we ate. We started with the Corn Ribs. Take corn on the cob, and cut it into quarters. Slather on some lime juice and cojita cheese and of course, some bbq sauce with a kick! YUM! They were a hit!

Main course consisted of pulled pork for me and burnt ends for the hubs. Both meats were smoked to perfection. Tender, juicy, full of flavor. They have several sauce options. For our first trip we decided to go with their originial bbq sauce options. The mild was a little too sweet, so we mixed in a little of the spicy sauce to get a great balance. For the sides we got some fries, fried okra, mac n cheese, and fried cabbage. Didn’t love the cabbage, but really thats because I eat like a 5 year old -ha! I coulnt stop eating the mac though!

Finally, we finished off the meal by sharing their banana pudding. This is not a tiny portion people, definitely can be shared. My family devoured it and we basically needed to be rolled out after our meal!
