Camping In The Fall In Rogers, AR
Nothing brings me greater joy then camping in the fall. Campfires, hammocks, brisk air, smores, and hiking. These are a few of my favorite things.
For our most recent camping trip, we decided to visit somewhere new. So using the Recreation.gov site we landed on Prairie Creek at Beaver Lake in Rogers, AR.
Recreation.gov is a great resource if you are a disabled veteran. You can apply for an access pass and stay at any of the locations for half price!
While the main activities to participate in here involves the lake, there is a 1 mile hiking trail. The trail is a strenuous uphill hike but very beautiful and is definitely a must do. Camping in the fall is our favorite because hiking is much more enjoyable in the brisk air!
Along with the hike, we spent a lot of time hammocking at our campsite in all the beautiful trees. They were perfect for hanging up our Fox Outfitter Hammocks. We loved how spacious the campsites were. Providing ample area for family fun.
One of the days that we were there, we ventured into Bentonville to visit the Crystal Bridges Museum and walk the trails. Enjoying the artwork and natural beauty that was along the trails. Combined trails offered about 2 miles of walking for us!
