If you are looking for the best way to see & eat your way through OKC, then look no further than Oklahoma Food Tours. I have had the absolute privilige to meet the OFT founders, Ryan & Nabeel. These guys have done an amazing job of putting their love of OKC and food together to give you not only a taste of whats out there food wise, but also a history of how each area and business came to be. As of this posting, in December of 2022, they currently over 3 different district tours. The Plaza district, Classen Curve, and Downton Edmond. However, they are already talking about adding…

Stir At The Simple Brew Now Open
Living in small towns has a lot of benefits. Something we wouldnt change or give up for even the best burger. Though we once thought about moving to this little town in New Mexico bc they had the best BBQ we had ever tasted! (He was originally from Texas.) Anyway, all these benefits of small town living does come with a cost. For the privacy, the space, the friendly neighbors…you give up great social atmospheric establishments. But ya’ll….Harrah, OK got itself its very own speakeasy bar. Stir at The Simple Brew is located on Harrah/Newalla Rd, just north of Reno. The owners Chad & Christy have promised us and delivered…

OKC’s Sunset Patio Bar
OKC’s newest hotspot is Sunset Patio Bar located in Midtown. The place has such a great vibe from the pup friendly patio to the lounge stadium area and arcade games. The kid friendly (till 9pm) restaurant is a huge open space with large rolling patio doors making it perfect to run in and out as needed. Big spacey booths to hold large groups, stadium seating, outdoor seating…they have it all. Food & Specialty Drinks We started our evening with The Peachy Golfer. It’s a vodka based drink (surprise surprise, right?! Haha) with peach schnapps and lemon & lime. For our dinner we ordered the Sleazy Burger. Melted Gouda and bacon…

McClintock Saloon & Chop House
Nestled on a side street in the Stockyard District of OKC is the most gorgeous saloon I’ve ever seen. McClintock Saloon & Chop House Walking in I was floored by all the beautiful woodwork and the chandeliers. It was so glitzy, warm and inviting. They have a lovely dining room area full of comfy booth seating on one side of the restaurant and over in the main room there is a giant 50 foot Red Oak bar with seating at the bar and also seating at their tables. The attire that the waiters are wearing is so fun and so classic for the environment; I just love it! The environment alone…

The Jones Assembly
Date Night in OKC…..sometimes it is hard to know where to go or what to do when you get to go out for a date night with the significant other. We tend to do alot of movies and dinner, but this time we wanted something different. We decided to go check out The Jones Assembly on the Historic Film Row downtown OKC. Ya’ll we spent 4 HOURS there! We took our time and went to all the different areas and just slowly enjoyed our evening. We got there at 4pm, and since the dining room wasnt open until 5pm we went and set out on downstairs patio. From 4-5 we sat out…
