Eureka Springs, AR Birthday Trip
For my 37th birthday we took a quick one night stay trip to Eureka Springs, AR. We just wanted to get away from the everyday and take a nice relaxing trip. I absolutely love the greenery everywhere in Arkansas, so I just knew it would be perfect.
Originially hoping to book a treehouse, but I waited too long and everything was booked. However, it was perfectly fine because I adored the cabin we ended up finding instead.
Where We Stayed
The cabin was located about 20 mins West of Eureka Springs on Beaver Lake. We found and booked it via Airbnb here. It was a small one bedroom/bathroom with a huge front glass wall that looked out over the lake. The hosts were amazing and had all these snacks and a bottle of wine for us. They even had fresh muffins ready to bake in the morning. The bathroom featured a huge jacuzzi tub perfect for candlelit wine induced relaxing.
The cabin also offers free kayaking on the lake, though we planned to participate in this; the weather didnt agree and it was just a little too cold and wet for us. They also have some trails and one that leads to a waterfall, but again we didnt get to partake this time.

What We Ate
Since we were only there one night, and I do not like to do dishes oh vacay; we went out to eat for all our meals. For lunch we stopped in Tulsa, OK on the way to Eureka Springs, AR and ate at Society Burger. You can see more about that here. Nothing makes me happier than a good cheeseburger!
For dinner, we went into Eureka Springs and ate at The Grotto Grill & Wine Cave, located in town along the strip. This place was a little fancy and the price tag definitely reflected that. We ordered steak and I enjoyed a glass of bubbly while we admired the cave/rock walls inside.
The next day for breakfast we ate the fresh muffins that we baked courtesy of the cabin hosts and then we had to leave shortly thereafter.
Overall the trip was extremely short but absolutely amazing. We did some sightseeing, eating, relaxing, and just enjoying time together.
