Food Trucks? Sign Me Up!

What do you do when you are out on the town running errands all day and its time for dinner? Of course there is always Pei Wei or Buffalo Wild Wings…..but what if you are wanting something completely new and different?

The solution? Bleu Garten!

We were faced with this difficult task the other night. So we decided to go and visit the local place called Bleu Garten. Its “OKCs original food truck park-locally sourced & crafted with love”.

Located at 301 NW 10th ST in Midtown. Parking is tricky as you get into the evening hours. There is a great FREE parking within walking distance on the west side of the food trucks.

This place is a social gathering area outdoors with picnic tables, tvs, and lights across the pavilions. They have multiple food trucks that rotate days to set up and provide for the Garten. They have cornhole set up and fire pits for the cooler season.

A fun unique aspect about this place is how dog friendly it is. A little under half the people there had brought their 4-legged friend in with them to enjoy a cocktail and dinner. This outdoor social setting is kid friendly as well. Now thats not to say that there wont be some people that are not considerate in what they say or how they act when children are present so keep that in mind, but we didnt have any problem when we went with our daughter.

The Bleu Garten venue is even available to be rented out for special events! What a wonderful place to host a school reunion or a wedding rehersal dinner! The atmosphere is wonderful especially at dusk!
