    Eureka Springs, AR Birthday Trip

For my 37th birthday we took a quick one night stay trip to Eureka Springs, AR. We just wanted to get away from the everyday and take a nice relaxing trip. I absolutely love the greenery everywhere in Arkansas, so I just knew it would be perfect. Originially hoping to book a treehouse, but I waited too long and everything was booked. Camping In Arkansas

Camping trips are our favorite. From sitting fireside to hiking the campground trails we love it all. We are definitely glampers though. I need my bathroom and fluffy bed to fully enjoy camping. I dont think I will do tent camping ever again. HAHA. I wouldn’t mind backpaing and sleeping in a hammock though! For the kiddo’s 12th birthday we went camping in Arkansas. We visited 3 different campsite locations over a 8 day period. Blue Mountain Lake (Havana, Arkansas) Beautiful views, stunning blue lake and gorgeous treed area. We found the perfect spot, site #13, sits back away from everyone else and has a little creek running right next…

Recreation.gov is a great resource if you are a disabled veteran. You can apply for an access pass and stay at any of the locations for half price! While the main activities to participate in here involves the lake, there is a 1 mile hiking trail. The trail is a strenuous uphill hike but very beautiful and…
