Winter Bronzing In A Bottle Part 2
The best tanning lotion. Tan in a can. Bronze in a bottle. Fake Bake. It doesn’t matter what you call it. This stuff can be your best friend. Gone are the days of tanning beds being the go-to choice. Spray tans are what most people are turning to. However, not everyone can spend $20-$40 weekly, or are comfortable stripping down for the tan.
Thats where tanning lotion steps in. But with so many choices, how do you decide which one? Well, thats what I’m hoping to help you out with. This is the second part in the series. To read the first part, go here.
Bondi Sands
I got the Bondi Sands Ultra Dark formula. Only $26 on Amazon.
When I first put it on I was very nervous with how dark and grungy it went on. However, after the inital setting time and rinsing it off, I was very pleased with its overall color and the long-lasting stay. Tan seemed to last about 5-7 days before needing reapplication. I was happy with the scent of the product and with the ease of application.
Loving Tan 2 Hr Express
I ordered the Loving Tan in Dark. It is $40 on Amazon.
While this lotion is the priciest of all of them, it is definitely worth it. This tanning lotion gave a quick and natural coloring that I loved. My biggest complaint with it, is getting it on my feet without splotching. I think its just gonna require more technique and/or practice for it. Tan seems to last 3-4 days before needing reapplication.
The best tanning lotion is….
So, what’s the best tanning lotion out there? As with all things, its subjective, but my favorites are definitely Desert Bronze and Loving Tan! Which is your favorite? Have you tried another that I should try?
Dont forget to read about application tips in my first part of the series here. Also, you will want to invest in an application mitt and back applicator.
